You are hereby notified that the above-named Respondent has been found, upon evidence gathered over a period of considerable patience, to be in breach of the following provisions:

  1. § 27.1a
    Occupation of two bays. Placement of one vehicle across markings provided for two separate vehicles.
  2. § 27.1b
    Angle without justification. Adoption of a diagonal in a car park laid out entirely in parallel.
  3. § 27.1c
    Obstruction of a neighbor. Denial of access to a door, a bay, or a person carrying shopping in the rain.
  4. § 27.1d
    Protective intent. Occupation of additional space for the preservation of paintwork, at public expense.
  5. § 27.1e
    Repetition despite space. Commission of the offense on a day the car park was, on inspection, empty.

It is therefore ordered that the Respondent park within the lines, both of them, effective immediately. This is a final notice. No further warnings will be issued. Compliance will be monitored. There is no appeals process, and there is no one to appeal to.

Serve at the vehicle, by hand. Do not put it under the wiper — that is a different document and it is not funny.

Have a witness present if you can. It doubles the audience and gives you someone to sign the form.

Give the witness your phone and have them film it. The document is the gift; their face is the part you keep.

Hold the notice with both hands. Do not smile. The whole thing collapses if you smile.
