You are hereby notified that the above-named Respondent has been found, upon evidence gathered over a period of considerable patience, to be in breach of the following provisions:
- § 4.3aOperation without use. Running a tap throughout an activity requiring it for four seconds.
- § 4.3bThe full basin. Filling a sink to a depth exceeding the item being washed by some margin.
- § 4.3cPre-rinse duration. Rinsing a plate for longer than the meal took to eat.
- § 4.3dHot water waste. Running a tap to temperature and then not using the hot water.
- § 4.3eThe unattended flow. Leaving water running while leaving the room entirely.
It is therefore ordered that the Respondent turn it off between the actual uses of the water, effective immediately. You are advised that continued conduct of this nature will be escalated. Compliance will be monitored. There is no appeals process, and there is no one to appeal to.
