You are hereby notified that the above-named Respondent has been found, upon evidence gathered over a period of considerable patience, to be in breach of the following provisions:
- § 11.3aUnilateral occupation. Claiming both shared armrests before the neighbouring seat is occupied.
- § 11.3bElbow expansion. Extending beyond the armrest into airspace belonging to another ticket.
- § 11.3cThe middle-seat disregard. Denying the compensating armrest to the one seat with no other advantage.
- § 11.3dTerritorial creep. Advancing incrementally over four hours so that no single moment is objectionable.
- § 11.3eSleep occupation. Achieving by unconsciousness what could not be achieved awake.
It is therefore ordered that the Respondent surrender the middle armrest to the middle seat, effective immediately. You are advised that continued conduct of this nature will be escalated. Compliance will be monitored. There is no appeals process, and there is no one to appeal to.
