You are hereby notified that the above-named Respondent has been found, upon evidence gathered over a period of considerable patience, to be in breach of the following provisions:
- § 13.4aRetention of audible feedback. Maintaining a per-keystroke sound that serves no purpose whatever.
- § 13.4bMessage length aggravation. Composing at length, thereby extending the condition.
- § 13.4cThe silent room. Selecting the quietest available environment in which to do it.
- § 13.4dHaptic accompaniment. Supplementing the sound with a vibration audible through the table.
- § 13.4eTwo-finger tempo. Producing an irregular rhythm materially harder to ignore than a regular one.
It is therefore ordered that the Respondent turn off keyboard sounds and never turn them back on, effective immediately. You are advised that continued conduct of this nature will be escalated. Compliance will be monitored. There is no appeals process, and there is no one to appeal to.
