You are hereby notified that the above-named Respondent has been found, upon evidence gathered over a period of considerable patience, to be in breach of the following provisions:
- § 14.4aSolicitation without receipt. Asking a question and departing before the answer is delivered.
- § 14.4bThe parallel screen. Maintaining eye contact with a device throughout a reply.
- § 14.4cRepetition of the question. Asking the same thing again within the hour, unchanged.
- § 14.4dThe non-sequitur response. Replying to an answer with something bearing no relation to it.
- § 14.4eNominal acknowledgement. Producing sounds of agreement at intervals unconnected to the content.
It is therefore ordered that the Respondent ask fewer questions and remain present for every answer, effective immediately. You are advised that continued conduct of this nature will be escalated. Compliance will be monitored. There is no appeals process, and there is no one to appeal to.
