Final Notice
You are hereby notified that the above-named Respondent has been found, upon evidence gathered over a period of considerable patience, to be in breach of the following provisions:
- § 16.8aPremature disclosure. Revelation of an outcome to a party who had not yet reached it by lawful viewing.
- § 16.8bReaction-watching. Observation of the Complainant’s face during a scene, thereby disclosing that a scene is coming.
- § 16.8cAnticipatory commentary. “This bit is so good” is a spoiler, has always been a spoiler, and will be treated as one.
- § 16.8dRetrospective defense. Assertion that the material is old enough that the offense has expired. No such expiry exists.
- § 16.8eRecap without consent. Summary of three seasons delivered to a party who had intended to watch three seasons.
It is therefore ordered that the Respondent watch in silence, or watch alone, effective immediately. This is a final notice. No further warnings will be issued. Compliance will be monitored. There is no appeals process, and there is no one to appeal to.
