You are hereby notified that the above-named Respondent has been found, upon evidence gathered over a period of considerable patience, to be in breach of the following provisions:
- § 27.6aInadequate following distance. Maintaining a gap that no reaction time could survive.
- § 27.6bHeadlight signalling. Applying full beam to a vehicle already travelling at the limit.
- § 27.6cGap closure on braking. Advancing into the space created by the vehicle ahead slowing.
- § 27.6dWeather disregard. Retaining the same distance in rain, fog or ice.
- § 27.6eThe heavy vehicle. Applying the practice behind a lorry, from which nothing ahead is visible.
It is therefore ordered that the Respondent keep a gap of at least two seconds at all times, effective immediately. You are hereby evicted from the privilege described above, effective immediately. Compliance will be monitored. There is no appeals process, and there is no one to appeal to.
