You are hereby notified that the above-named Respondent has been found, upon evidence gathered over a period of considerable patience, to be in breach of the following provisions:
- § 24.3aReproduction at an excessive level. Setting a volume exceeding the needs of everybody present.
- § 24.3bSubtitle refusal. Declining the alternative that would resolve this entirely.
- § 24.3cThe advert differential. Permitting a break to arrive at a level nobody consented to.
- § 24.3dRoom-to-room audibility. Achieving a level at which the programme follows you upstairs.
- § 24.3eHearing denial. Attributing the requirement to the actors rather than to your ears.
It is therefore ordered that the Respondent set it at a level the other people in the room can talk over, effective immediately. You are advised that continued conduct of this nature will be escalated. Compliance will be monitored. There is no appeals process, and there is no one to appeal to.
